Low Oil Pressure Warning by Sparky

Sparky
Morning all. Deos anyone know where i might find my oil pressure sender? Was quite happily cruising along the M25 last night (yes it was moving, instead of the car park it normally is) when up came the message and the car cut out! It took about ten minutes to restart, although i was low on fuel, then i finished my journey with no further problems. There is a post about this subject already, but i want to give the sensor a once over if i can find it/get to it. Cheers all

When the engine is cutting out due to a broken fuel supply, the oil pressure will go down, hence the warning light. Most probably the reason will be a broken fuel pump. In this case you don't have to worry about the oil pressure and the sensor.
