It is the shortest day of the year here
Not wanting to drag the conversation towards the stereotypical British topic of the weather but it hasn't been the best conditions to enjoy hours of uninterrupted sunshine 
That said, I was in a position to see the sunrise on Sunday morning. The sky started to get light at around 3am, which was nice

Now that really is a long day. Hopefully they don't come round that often.
