OK chaps

I have been given a video in MP4 which has been split into two parts which I want to re-join as one video.

My concern is that the last few seconds of the first video are repeated as the first few seconds of the second video.

Is there any way of joining them without those few seconds being repeated please?

I would think you need some editing software that can trim the files. Last software I used for that job was Pinnacle Studio, but haven't done any work for a few years.

I think windows movie maker might be your answer. No idea how to use it but there must be some tutorials.
