I attempted to register at the Sony website recently, so that I could setup my warranty on a new piece of kit.
I was told to click on the link in an e-mail to confirm the registration. "If you do not do so within 72 hours, the registration will fail and you will have to start again" was the stern postscript.
Sure enough, the e-mail arrived... five days later.
