... that I have anything good to say about Royal Mail but, credit where credit is due:

I had a small parcel to send to Omagh in NI and my usual port of call, Interparcel, came up with non guaranteed, 48 - 72 hours, £50 insurance at a cost of £18.

Royal Mail special delivery, guaranteed next day, £500 insurance, at a cost of £5.90.

Well done the Post Office :)

Use this service a lot to send product samples for work.
Guaranteed next day delivery before 9am so products are still frozen on receipt.
Just under £25 versus frozen / chilled courier at £65+.
I've only had one lost one sample in two years and can be sending a couple of times a week to different places.
