It's finished!! by Duncan

Some of you will know, that for the last few months (well actually since December last year) I've been refurbishing our kitchen.

Had a few trades in where I've had to, but mostly done myself at weekends. As of today it's officially finished! So when anyone asks me for something I'll no longer have the excuse.

Should have a bit more time for meets now, though I do have some catching up on other tasks to do, as I've hardly worked on either car yet this.

Apolgies for anyone I've bored with this over the months, but I'm glad it's finally done!

Well done Duncan and I wish you had not done your kitchen  .

The day we arrived at the house in France with the oven you sold us I installed it.

During our fortnight there we had two chickens via the rotisserie and excellent they were.

On our last day Yve pressed the button to clean the oven and what a superb job it makes of it.

Yve has stated that the next oven will be a De Dietrich. A double oven may not be far away :panic: - problems of doing roast potatoes whilst cooking a joint (open the door and the auto function stops - unless we are doing something wrong). Luckily above the oven is a combined microwave / grill / oven. However, I do not think I am going to get away with that for long.

From meory, I think it depends when in the auto cycle you open it. I thought during it's warm up / calculation time, opening the door means it confuses the system as it relies on the rate of warm up to decide how big the thing in the oven is.

Anyhow, glad you are happy with it!
