Is the Government interested in Internet safety? by PaulT

Just registered for a Dartford Crossing account. It is via a Government website (the French company Sanef manages the charging). You have to create a password. It has to start with a letter, contain at least one digit and be at least 8 characters long. Fine so far except that you cannot use any special characters in the password! So you cannot increase security by using these characters.
