My Jaguar uses a fibre optic link between all the devices, phone, sat nav Jaguar Voice, audio, CD changer etc. It allows for audio and video data to be multiplexed along with control information, muting commands etc.
Thing is, there is no way of connecting iPod / USB to the audio unit.
Except if you buy Jaguar's own "Audio Connectivity Module" which basically allows iPod / USB to emulate the CD changer... for £570 of your English pounds thank you very much
