23 year old, driving a porch boxter at 149 MPH. Perhaps that goes some way to explaining why motor insurance costs are so high for all young men, law abiding or not.

On the BBC Lincs news tonight was a picture of a Porsche driver overtaking horses in excess of 100mph in a 50 zone who then sees the speed van and really jams on the brakes - clouds of smoke from the tyres where he was braking very hard and the car snaking somewhat. He got a £600 fine and 6 months ban.

Good job he did not spook the horses.
