Also, there is a problem selling the MG brand in the Gulf countries: the MG brand used to be sold by the MG-Rover and Land Rover and Jaguar dealerships. Now the Chinese want to sell them in their own dealerships... JLR dealers are not willing to let this happen as in the collective memory, these brands are British not Chinese, which might confuse buyers of Land Rovers/Range Rovers as well as Jags...
