A fantastic piece of British engineering is slowly taking shape on the Clyde. We haven't built anything on this scale for some considerable time (if ever?) and it shows that when we put our minds too it we can still design and build such engineering marvels.

At 65,000 tons it will be the largest carrier ever built in the UK. Am I right that 2 are going to be built? Great news for Scotland and the local ship builders.

Yup the QE and Prince of Wales, although rumours have it that PoW may well be renamed as Ark Royal? Not quite sure what they will be carrying though as the F-35 is having some "teething" troubles shall we say.
