I get a lot of noise on Classic FM when the HRW is on. I know I've seen something on this somewhere but can't find it.

There will be s small scratch in one of the tracks, that hardly shows up. If you can see it it will appear as a spot that demists slightly more than elesewhere. Otherwise look for tiny scratches, or if you can't see it, run your finger slowly along each track to seee if the noise goes away. If it does, there's your problem where your finger stops it. Tiny touch of sliver loaded paint will fix it.
