Ok here's an odd one

Drivers heated seat - with no user intervention - switches itself on when it feels like it, switch light does not illuminate, the seat just heats up, then on reaching temperature switches off

Any thoughts??

The switching on the seats is on the neg side so any chaffing of wires after the heater pad could create an earth point and bring the seat on, it will go off via the stat in the seat once it reaches temp :)
