We have had 3 'ladies' for about 18 months....charming creatures they are too...both my kids have one each and my wife has one. Silly me says 'Well I'll have one too!' back in May.

Went to a very reputable outlet. Explained that we had 3 girls and hence wanted another girl to avoid 'complications'.....got a beautiful tri-colour whom we named Maggie after she handbagged the other three upon arrival - in spite of being a third of the size! :?

Fast forward to today......we had noticed two of the girls getting a touch rotund......we had thought this was down to good living....outside run, plenty of grass, vegetables and dried food etc...then we decided to check the 'new recruit'.... (You can see where this is going I know...)

Maggie, living up to her namesake, had done just what the Iron Lady had done upon coming to power....grown balls...

We now know for definite that two out of the three ladies are expecting......and Maggie...now renamed Nev....is in solitary confinement. :em:

It very difficult to determine the sex of the little blighters.

The wife eventually got the hang of it. She became known for miles around for her expertise in the matter but not until we had seventeen of them.

Charming little animals though. It amazed me that they are born as perfect miniature animals and not helpless babies.
I don't like signatures, they take up too much screen space.

Update: Been in touch with the place where we bought him....they are very apologetic...Given that he had been housed in with 15 little girls until they were all 12 weeks and given they can get pregnant from 3 weeks.....they may well have a lot of disgruntled customers start to show up just about now...

Anyway, they have offered to pay the vets fees (After 12 months old they often need a 'C' section to survive the births..) and they have offered to exchange Nev for a girl....doesn't seem much point as I'll have the pick of possibly two dozen shortly anyway! We have now got the most pregnant lady in a hutch indoors.....looking like she is going to burst... :?

Anybody fancy a live lawnmower? Very efficient they are.... :gmc:
