Only 2 votes out of 22 great news.
When has Beckham ever won anything for England in World cup. :o :gmc:
Bad enough having the dam olympics here with the added burden on tax payers.

I still love this marque and I will still be around, preferred selling to breaking, as a great runner and performer"

You are quite right! ;)

How refreshing to see that I am not alone in this.

Apart from the fact we can't afford to host the World Cup (as already mentioned) I'm also of the opinion that we've got more than enough home grown football thugs over here to cause trouble without inviting all those from the rest of the world for six weeks as well.

Is this thread about Soccer?

Can't be arsed myself, although there is something to said for the skill shown by some players. Not mentioning those that perform like Drury Lane Fairies

i'm glad Australia lost too, they still go on about "The Best Olympics Ever" and that was in 2000!
I still see people wearing their volunteers jackets!!

I think they should scrap this expensive bidding process. ;) In it's place I would suggest that the winners of the World Cup should then hold the next tournament in their country, a la Eurovision. :stirer:

That way we will never have to host the World Cup in England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.

NBow that would be what they call a RESULT

Cheers
