Frozen windscreen blades by Bermudan 75

I have noticed that in the recent cold weather my windscreen blades seem to be frozen in that they do not clear the screen of the screenwash. The blades totally fail to come in contact with the windscreen.

Has anyone else noticed this?

Cheers

The rubber does tend to become very stiff in freezing conditions on the original type. The aero blades from Bosch seem to do a much better job, perhaps they are made from a different material?

These are both the same length 550mm but should be fine as the originals are 21" and 22"

Ta Mick,

I fitted Bosch blades to my old 418 and they were excellant. Will do the same for the 75, after all the 75 has the original blades fitted in September 2003 when it was built.

Cheers

Yes, Mike, go for the Bosch aerotwin as Mick recommended, they are worth it. I'm using them too.
The material of the blades deteriorates over time, even if not used. And sunlight will speed up this process. So your old ones are really old by now. ;)
