Right. Now, I have Mick's lovely 'Typist' font and I can get it to install itself on Word but how can I get it to install on Open Office? T'is driving me round the bend....

Word on a Windoze system keeps it's fonts in it's own folder, you need to put the font in the system fonts folder. No idea where it is so do a search for .ttf that should locate the folder for you.
Generally in C:/Windows/Fonts or move/copy the one you want to that folder.
