Just carried out a comparison between my current tariff and an alternative tariff from my current supplier via two comparison sites.
One tells me I could save £195.78 and the other £41........both with the same info.
Now the daily standing charge on both tariffs is the same - 20.459p per day.
Current gas tariff 3.115p / kWH alternative gas tariff 3.122p
Current electricity tariff 10.914p alternative electricity tariff 10.996p
So in both cases my current tariff is less than the alternative tariff - so how the hell do they come up with a saving on the alternative tariff and why do they differ by £154.78?????
