If you've printed the postage through eBay, can you then post the item in the letter box or does it have to go to the Post Office?

If it's just normal 1st or 2nd class, then it can be dropped into a post box, but if you have used a signed for, or special delivery, then you have to take them to the post office to be stamped and validated.
