Can anybody please recommend duplicate photo finding software which actually works? Preferably one which goes further than just comparing file names and has a batch delete facility.

Does such a beast exist?

Thanks :)

There use to be a Pro program but it also compared file sizes so many errors occurred and it was dropped.
Not found any decent one since.

I've looked at several but they're either very pricy, too slow, no batch function or very inaccurate :(

Surely it can't be beyond the wit of man (or geek) to produce a reasonable program?

Planning is an unnatural process, much better to just get on with things, that way failure comes as a complete surprise instead of being preceeded by a period of worry and doubt

The one that works for me is Visual Similarity Duplicate Image Finder:
http://www.mindgems.com/products/VS-Dup ... -About.htm
support 300+ image formats and can find similar images in any format.

If you want a free solution try Fast Duplicate File Finder:
http://www.mindgems.com/products/Fast-D ... -About.htm
That one as all duplicate finders can match only exact duplicates in its free version.
