Just in case theres a connection, I will tell teh story -

The other night I came home with lights on, I stopped teh car and then turned off my lights. Thus the headlights where still on for 30 seconds or so.

I had to go out again later that night, so off I drove. When I switched the lights off at my Destination, the "Dipped Beam Failure" warning came up on my Info pack.

I have now changed teh Bulb with Two new ones and the light is still not working.

All my other lights work except teh Dipped beam on Drivers side.

I have had a look at teh fuse box etc all is ok. Although I figured a fuse would cause more to stop working than just a single item.

Sorry to be a bit thick with this but I haven't a clue

Can you delete this post now - For some wierd reason they decided to start working lol

My passenger side dipped bulb failed this morning

I'm told you can get this if the wires rub through on an edge just behind the lamp.

Thx Duncan - I have had a look to be safe and cannot see any Chaffing on teh wires, so I think it was just a wierd Rover moment for me lol. The lights work fine now :p
