I have a biasi 28s Combi boiler,

While i have been away my dad said he topped it up as the pressure was down but he's over filled it and we are getting a drip now and then out of the outside overflow pipe.

I do have a manual but cant seem to see/understand how to drain some of it out to get the pressure back to 1.5 bar ?

heres a link to a manual in PDF format http://www.aroundtownflats.com/manuals/ ... 28SR~C.pdf

You will be able to manually opern the pressure relief valve but may have to take the case off the boiler to do so. Easiest way for a lay person to reduce the pressure without breaking any rules is to simply bleed the water out of the radiators into a bowl or similar until the pressure is back to what it should be :).

Now why did't i think of that

My old boiler had a lever that i could push to release any over fill or if it needed emptying, i couldn't see anything on this one and didn't want to take the cover off :)

When my dad installed a new radiator in the front room i had him install some pipe thru the wall to the outside and placed a drain off point there so no more mucking around with buckets :)

Thanks for your reply Mr takestock
