does anyone know how i prise apart the compression coupling on the clutch fluid pipe i have tryed using a screw driver as it says in haynes manual but it wont come apart rover 75 2002 1.8 petrol

It's not just prise apart. There's a collar you have to push in to release it. I used an open ended spanner when I did mine. There might be some photos somewhere on here.
