Yep- the ultimate rash purchase ANOTHER Rover 75 Oh well your only young once
Well she's still broken sadly, although she won't remain broken as I want to get her on the road asap. She isn't speaking to you though- partly because you wanted to steal her wheels, and partly because you kept her off the road buy not buying her
Yes, the Meteors are still very much there

On Saturday lunchtime the lowloader carrying T262 JOP stopped outside my friends house, and was promptly unloaded.
My first impressions were good, the car was clean and free from dents and scratches. The only bad area was the rear bumper which had managed to sustain damage despite the car being fitted with parking sensors.
When the car was running it ran well, with no rattles from the inlet manifold, or anywhere else in the engine for that matter! I had the on board diagnostics running and the fan cut in as it should.
After filling the expansion / header tank I watched the water run out of the bottom of the car, and after finding where the water was coming from I identified the thermostat as the source of the leak.
I've ordered a new thermostat and a fluid extractor, so this weekend I should be able to tackle the job, and hopefully cure the overheating problem.
I've a couple of other hopefully minor problems to tackle, and then she should be ready for an MOT

See that Bristol Street window sticker in the rear window, this is where my wife worked some years ago when they were doing so well (my 75 actually came from Seward's in Bournemouth) history is a funny and interesting thing.
Well! Lewis, be gentle with that beauty you have and can I ask! how did you actually come about her ?
Duncan wrote:Still got the prelaunch black PDC sensors I note, but the boot plinth is obviously later (2 badges).
There were quite a few wedgies in the batch, my boss had one that was TxxxJOP. Check the boot for unused wiring!
Cowley_MOA wrote:Do you know if Bristol Street are still going as a garage, because I was wondering if they have any sevice history for the car?
I sure will! Once I have fixed her though she will be for sale, like I say she was an impulse purchase, as If I hadn't bought her she would have been weighed in by now!
Duncan wrote:It would run down the right hand side and into the wheel well in the same place as the satnav kit, though if the phone kit was removed they may have cut the wiring, or tucked it behind the side trim
Didn't spot if the car had nav (hiline) though.
