Cambelt on a diesel by PaulT

PaulT
There is a diesel 75 advertised on eBay that states 'cambelt changed at 66,000 miles'.

I emailed him on this point stating that it has a chain and not a belt and does not need changing.

His reply:

sorry about that it has a chain which does not need changing

so how did he come up with the original statement - how much of the rest of the blurb can be believed?

I guess, to try be fair to the seller, he may have a receipt that states belt changed??? Or he may have been conned by a stealer.... or he may be a trade seller who just copied an advert from another car he had sold and forgot to take that bit out... or he may have copied an advert for another 75 (a petrol variant)??

Personally would still make me think twice about the car for sale.
