Can anyone recommend a good battery for my 75 diesel?

These are the correct physical dimensions of the original OEM battery and the replacement Bosch Silver S4008 I have in my car 278L x 175W x 175H

From memory I think it is possible to fit a longer battery. The BOSCH S4 CAR BATTERY TYPE 110 for example is
Length: 315mm
Width: 175mm
Height: 175mm

Yuasa batteries are good Mike and carry a 5 year guarantee, in Halfords at £120 or £96 with their trade card

I went with a diesel spec Varta battery on eBay with a 5 year warranty, when Ed's last battery bit the dust!

It spins the V6 over like it's got no compression! :lol:

It's fine and Ed never starts other than 1st time! :unionflag:
