Hi Paul, I was mainly involved in the design and commissioning of the Routine Dynamic Display ( RDD ) system which sat above the map table. Gave the aircraft its ability to lay the square search sonar pods . It also linked into the Elliot Doppler.

I always thought the RDD was treated as second best to the Tac-Nav display other than when in transit Drummond. Shame really, apart from one or two maintenance gripes, RDD was top notch (in my view) :)
