Airbag warning lights by rhylbloke

Hi all,
long time no post. I wonder if anyone could advise me about airbag warning lights generally ?
This is actually a problem with my wife's 2004 Nissan Micra - the airbag warning light started flashing a couple of days ago. We had just given someone a lift, they fastened the rear passenger side seat belt and I adjusted the front passenger seat forwards. I mention this because my old 75 used to show the airbag warning light for a while, just about every time I adjusted the drivers seat! I tried posting this question on a Nissan owners' forum, but there was a deafening silence in response. Just hoping that you guys may be able to advise me before I resort to taking it to the garage to check seat belt pre-tensioners or whatever.
Fingers crossed. Thanks very much
Les

Not familiar with that particular car, however, as it seems seat related, why not whizz both seats fully forward and back a few times, it may disturb a dry joint or something!

Likewise don't know the car. But the problem is likely to be one of the connectors under the seat. Unplugging and replugging a few times helps. On my 45 I applied some contact cleaner too and it seems a more permanent cure (several months now).

I doubt the micra has side bags in the seat, but probably has a pretensioner in the stalk.
