I tried regassing my 75 diesel air con system & it appears there was a leak ( green fluid, antifreeze?) coming from the condensor, I tried again using a leak sealer/regasser without success, is this likely to be o rings, condenser failure or what? Any ideas/advice greatly welcomed, Andy
The green fluid is probably the PAG lubricant oil. Antifreze on 75s is red if the normal stuff is being used.
Most likely problem is a hole in the condensor caused by corrosion or a stone. The system really needs a proper leak test, however if you take the car to a specialist make sure you tell them that you tried to seal it as the sealant stuff can damage the machine they use.
