Hi,
I thought I would unplug and clean the connector to the ABS (Antilock Braking System) unit incase a connection fault there. I'm assuming it can't do any harm? It appears the ABS unit is near the battery, is that correct?
Hi Terry.
It is near the battery just under to the left of the battery; the battery would need removing and so would the metal plate in the battery tray.
Torx 30 i think.

Battery bracket may need removing out of the way.

unclip the wiring from the bracket.

You now should see a slider clip, this one below with my name over it.

It easier if you use a screwdriver to prise out the slide connector.

Once the connector slide clip is completely out you can lift off the loom connector plug to check for corrosion to the pins, or even bent pins which there should be none, if the unit has never been tampered with.
