A tale from the Court. by Raistlin

Not from within the well of the Court, rather an observation.

Just recently, all the toilet tissue holders in the Court building were replaced with those huge cylindrical dispensers which take up most of the cubicle (you know what I mean) and require special to type toilet tissue rolls.

Today, there were standard toilet rolls balanced precariously on top of the now empty dispensers. I asked the maintenance manager why and he said:-

"The specific rolls for the dispensers are too expensive - we haven't the money to buy them."

Cogito ergo sum... maybe?

Unfortunately, tales like this, are all to common within Government Departments!

Some bright spark has looked at the toilet roll bill and thought "I know, we'll change them to non-standard rolls, so they don't get pinched" without looking into the cost of the replacement rolls! :mad1:

So then we, the Tax payer, get hit with the cost of buying all of the new holders, that now have standard rolls balanced on the top! :(

But don't worry, it's only Tax payers money, so it doesn't matter! :mad1:
