When you were designing the hands free set up for the car was there a particular microphone you intended to fit in the interior light unit?

Until Duncan appears the microphone in my light unit is for the Traffic Master Smart Nav (subscribed sat Nav system).

Yes, it's a BMW microphone. Fitted in a number of BMWs of the same age.

As John suggests, later the same thing was used for the smartnav from what I've seen though after my time.
