I am completely dumbfounded by how these scuzzbags where permitted to hold a protest during yesterdays Armistice day, Moreso they where given a Police Escort and then allowed to set fire to a model of a Poppy, the Symbol of rememberance.

More disgusting is the fact none of them where arrested for any form of Incitement, in fact one was arrested for assualting a Police Officer and two for Public disorder offences.

Strangely, I haven't seen anything on Mainstream News.

IMHO the least said about this group the better, giving them air time is what they want, to deprive them of that air time will make their efforts futile. I have no doubt they are all now on a watch list. Better they are known rather than plotting behind closed doors.

I didn't read it as the police giving them an escort but rather keeping them corralled with as little risk to the police and public as possible.

I am, however, disappointed that it occurred at all let alone at this most sensitive of times.

I wonder if they understand the irony of their protests. Hopefully, one day, they or their relatives, will be free to protest in their own countries. Due in no small part to the actions of the people they are protesting about.

If the Police took the same view as they do in Bradford, they would not arrest them for fear of repurcussions.

That is what I was told after me and my wife were both threatened by an Asian Man. They sent him on his way.

After he had gone I spoke with the Policewoman, asking why nothing had been done? She advised me they didn't want to cause an incident that might escalate?? I asked if the same response would have occurred if I had threatened him, would I not have been put straight in the back of her car and into a cell. To which she simply replied, yes you would. Then she asked me to go home and try to forget about the incident.

Despicable though it was....would we really want it any other way? In that this is what was fought for. Freedom.

Some people simply use it less wisely than others, some see it as a sign of weakness, something that can be used against us..but the reality is, it is and shall remain our greatest strength....and it is what should differentiate 'us' from 'them'...

Adolf Hitler viewed freedom with disdain. His words and actions in his rise to power show how, for him, Democracy was something to be used and abused, a stepping-stone that would allow him to gain power. In the end it was Democracy that defeated him..(with some help from the Communists granted...but they haven't finished sorting themseleves out yet.. )..don't make the mistake of thinking that Democracy is always weak, feeble, toothless. That freedom leaves us naked and unprotected. It is not...the people who believe it so and would try to use it against us simply do not understand its true strength..

Why in bed I get nearly all the daily papers before any funny comments arise. Still not keeping me sane though.

They shot themselves in the foot, imagine how their protest will have been seen though the eyes of 99.9% of the Asians in this country! NOT pleased!

As for us Brits, we get what we deserve, we are about the most apathetic race on the planet.. 2010 and we still allow a "class system" to rule here.. We should be ashamed innit...
