2 Speed Fan Question by carlpenn

carlpenn
Could someone please advise me if there is anyway of swapping the 2 Speed fan from a Diesel to a Petrol model, without altering the Wiring?

Do the Resistors just plug straight in or is there more Wires to the resistor on the Petrol than the Diesel?

The reason I ask is because I was investigating why my 2.5 V6 Cooling Fan was not working and I found this:

The Fan has come away from the Motor.

I assume refitting is out of the Question, because the Blade is no longer secure

Thanks in Advance :)

A touch of superglue before refitting worked for me, as mine fell off after a new motor was fitted.
